What is Flappy Reps?

Flappy Reps is a browser game where your body is the controller. It is Flappy Bird, but instead of tapping you do push-ups, squats or a plank in front of your phone or laptop camera. Go down and the bird drops, come up and it rises through the pipes.

Is there a game you control with push-ups?

Yes. Flappy Reps is a Flappy Bird style game in your browser where push-ups control the bird. Your camera tracks your shoulders: go down and the bird drops, push up and it rises through the pipes. It also has squat and plank modes.

Which exercises does it support?

Push-ups (the camera follows your shoulders), squats (it follows your hips) and plank (hold your hips level; your score is the seconds you hold).

How does Flappy Reps track my body?

It runs Google's MediaPipe Pose model inside your browser to find your shoulders or hips in each camera frame, then maps their height onto the bird. Before each run it watches one full rep to learn your range of motion.

Is my camera video uploaded anywhere?

No. The video is processed on your own device and never leaves it. There is no account and nothing to install.

Do I need to download an app or create an account?

No. Flappy Reps runs in the browser at flappyreps.com. You can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.

What do I need to play?

A phone or laptop with a camera and a modern browser such as Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. No equipment.

Where should I put my phone?

For push-ups, on the floor in front of you, facing you. For squats, propped up at about waist height with your hips in frame. For plank, on the floor at your side so your whole body is in frame.

Is Flappy Reps free?

Your first run each day is free. For unlimited play there is a $1.99 Day Pass (24 hours) or Pro at $4.99 per month, cancel anytime.

Can I share my runs?

Yes. The game records each run on your device and offers a clip at the end that you can share or download.

Can I play without a camera?

You can try the game with the up and down arrow keys, but the point is to play with your body.
